- I don't blame the ex-husband or daughter, at least, for not wanting to see or speak to her after probably believing something awful had happened to her and she was dead. Possibly leaving a note would have helped, but it's hard to say.

- What I find frustrating is that if this POS had been imprisoned or euthanized a few crimes before this murder, he wouldn't have been able to commit this murder in the first place. Repeat offenders are just that, REPEAT offenders and should not be dealt with so lightly.

- Man, I am so tired of reading these stories of heartless, mean, cruel people hurting people's pets. Here's an idea...TALK to the PEOPLE that own the dogs FIRST. Let them know there is/was a problem and have a chance to fix the problem.

- Dr. Ms. DA Starr, Instead of punishing the poor dogs for their irresponsible owners, here's a crazy idea.....raise the rent of all those that own dogs in the complex to pay for a dog pickup service. Either they will start cleaning up after their dogs, or the poo will be gone.

- Wow, with such a sweet and caring owner it's SUCH a wonder that this dog ran away!! Geez. If someone called me and told me one of my dog's had been hit by a car, I'd be at that vet's office faster than you can say 'go'. It doesn't sound like this story had anything to do with the cost.

- "Alberson may still be sentenced up to life in prison due to a previous conviction." If she'd been euthanized after the first conviction, we wouldn't be reading about this one. It's a dang good thing I'm not in charge. These wastes of resourcees need to go.
